In equicty you can add competitions in different ways.

  1. Via the dashboard
  2. Through the sport module


Add a competition via your dashboard

  1. To create a competition via the dashboard, navigate to the Dashboard > > Sport Icon.
  2. In the following window:
    1. Enter a competition name
    2. Select one or more horses that will participate in the competition in the right-hand table
    3. Select one or more staff members who will take part in the competition
    4. Set a start date
    5. Set an end date
    6. (optional) Choose a colour, this colour can mean a different definition / example; importance, priority, type of competition, regional / national / international etc
    7. (optional) Determine how many days before the start date the selected members of staff receive a reminder.
    8. Next, you choose whether you want to save the competition or plan to.

Save: The competition has been created and appears on your dashboard as well as in your competition calendar. The task only appears on your dashboard on the week on which you have scheduled it.


Save and schedule: With this option you automatically go to the competition details, and you can plan the competition further. Next article explains how you can plan a competition further; FAQ: How to plan or edit a competition?


Add a competition via the sport module

  1. To create a competition via the sport module, navigate to Sport > Competition calendar >  Adding can be done in both the monthly and annual overview. Another option is to select a number of days with your mouse directly in the competition calendar of the monthly overview.
  2. In the next window: see above, the same steps as adding a competition via your dashboard
  3. Enter a competition name
  4. Select one or more horses that will participate in the competition in the right-hand table
  5. Select one or more staff members who will take part in the competition
  6. Set a start date
  7. Set an end date
  8. (optional) Choose a colour, this colour can mean a different definition / example; importance, priority, type of competition, regional / national / international etc
  9. (optional) Determine how many days before the start date the selected members of staff receive a reminder.
  10. Next, you choose whether you want to save the competition or plan to.
