A credit note is an invoice with a reduction or remission of an invoice amount. It concerns an invoice that is based on a previously sent invoice.

In equicty you can create a credit note in various ways.

  1. Via module Billing > Invoices tab > right second (between both tables) > credit note
  2. Via module Billing > open costs
  • Select the Expenses/Earning that you wish to credit
  • Click Save & Credit at the bottom to save your credit note
